Chloe + Nick had such a lovely day for their intimate boho Wisconsin wedding celebration. When covid started in spring, mandates and rules were created and changed, and then changed again. I’ve never seen two humans look at each other so googly-eyed before. Chloe and Nick are so incredibly head-over-heels for each other, and there’s certainly no hiding that. They couldn’t wait one more second to be married – so they didn’t. They decided on a smaller venue in Eagle River to host them for the weekend, but kept their original date.
I arrived to the cabin in Eagle River on the morning of August 29th where Chloe + Nick were staying at with all of their favorite people for the weekend. Everyone was hanging out in their pajamas when I got there. Most people were hanging out and helping set up while the girls started on hair and makeup. Chloe was upstairs getting ready with her mother and sisters. After getting into her dress, we headed out to the lake so she could meet Nick for their first look. This moment was just as sweet as I knew it would be.
After they read letters privately to each other, they met back up at the cabin to wait for guests to arrive. Set up right on the edge of Scattering Rice Lake and accompanied by a live band, their ceremony was just magical. Would it really be a Wisconsin wedding without a bride and groom double keg stand? The party was just beginning as more champagne was popped, the seafood boil was being finished and guests were seated for dinner.
Their wedding day was the epitome of intimate. It was long tables and dances at sunset. Incredible words and memories were shared over bubbly toasts and tears. We danced into the night – the smiles, laughs and champagne, endless. This atmosphere honestly created the perfect intimate boho Wisconsin wedding. I feel so honored to have been there and create such beautiful memories for such incredible people!
