Rocky Mountain Park Engagement Session

Rocky Mountain National Park is a SUPER epic backdrop for engagement photos. There are so many great places you can hop in and out of in the park to see some truly spectacular views. Rocky Mountain Park is also home to some of my most favorite hikes. If you’re looking for an easy hike with a stunning view, Sprague Lake is a great choice. It’s easily accessible, usually has a decent amount of parking spaces, and has other trails attached so you can explore deeper than just a walk around the lake. Check out this GORGEOUS Rocky Mountain Park engagement Session!

When Angelica first reached out, I asked if there was anything else she’d love to see included in her DREAM wedding photography package that wasn’t already included. Her answer? Along the lines of, “I’m not sure how realistic this would be, but we’d love to get engagement photos in Colorado.” DONE.

Little did she know, it was VERY realistic. It was meant to be!

We flew out to Colorado and met up one day for an afternoon of adventures in the mountains. We started at Hall Ranch Open Space to get a good variety of mountains. Up next was Rocky Mountain Park where we spent most of the time around Sprague Lake. On the way out, just as the sun was reaching that golden glow, we saw a heard of elk grazing in the field. Our last stop was Lake Estes, right before the sunset. We had so much fun. It was such a perfect day for a Rocky Mountain Park engagement photo session!

This was seriously the BEST day ever ♥️ When we first went to Colorado a few years back we fell in love with how gorgeous it was and I jokingly said to Rob, “Wow can you imagine if we got our engagement pictures done here?” To which he replied, “Calm down, crazy, we aren’t even engaged” 😂 Two years later, Kayla made that dream a reality!

Thank you so much for giving us these incredible memories that we’ll have for the rest of our lives! We had so much fun and you made it so easy to just relax and be ourselves. So happy to have the opportunity to work with you!
