Wauwatosa Outdoor Wedding at Birch

Birch MKE was the perfect Wauwatosa outdoor wedding venue for Kyle + Emily. The best feature at Birch is absolutely their patio. In the middle of the city, tall evergreens surround the space, making it a magical private escape perfect for your wedding day. What’s a patio these days without dreamy string lights glowing above your reception space when the sun goes down? Exactly. This is why the patio has my heart – the string lights, and all those tall, deep green evergreens.

This dreamy summer Wauwatosa outdoor wedding was absolutely gorgeous.

Kyle + Emily had an amazing day and I couldn’t have been more excited to be their wedding photographer! Emily not only planned the entire day, but also created all of the floral arrangements herself! Kyle + his father also built their plant wall backdrop, including all their plant babies from home. It was such a special addition to the day.

We started off with their first look on a trail along the Milwaukee River where the flowers were in full bloom and then headed to Kadish Park for group photos. Then it was time for the party to start!

Outdoor weddings + receptions can be a gamble depending on your location, but oh so gorgeous. Dinner has so much more drama and feeling when you can celebrate it with the sunset surrounding you.

After dinner we headed inside for music and dancing by Sound by Design. The night was filled with choreographed dances, hands thrown in the air, and big belly laughs. Their guests sent Kyle + Emily off with a beautiful sparkler exit on the patio.
