Matt & Becca are an absolutely AMAZING couple and such a dream to spend the day with. I was so honored to photograph this important part of their love story in central Wisconsin at Caribou Bay Retreat in Coloma. Located on the Ice Age Trail, Caribou Bay Retreat is a private getaway with a cabin and guest house situated on 35 acres of breathtaking landscape and its own lake. After just a short phone call, Becca was set on me to capture their big day. I knew it would be an absolutely incredible day by how she described the day unfolding. The real day was even better than we could have hoped.

The ceremony was held atop the hill overlooking the lake, surrounded by towering pine trees. Immediately after they said “I do,” the wedding party headed to the cabin for a shot of Jameson and with that, it was time to celebrate love!

Following yard games and cocktail hour by the lake, dinner and dancing took place in the stunning event center. It was perfectly decorated with gorgeous rustic decor and enchanting string lights. All of the desserts were made by family and were ridiculously delicious. I had to try almost everything – Becca’s Oreo truffles and Shellie’s carrot cake were to die for!  Later guests gathered around the newly constructed fire pit under the stars which made for an unforgettable evening for this Caribou Bay Retreat Wedding.
